So You Decided on Sequoia?

I love that about you already.

You want a day built around exploring and being fully present together.

Photos that feel like you. A day centered around the two of you and what matters most. A Sequoia experience that feels more like an adventure than a photo session.

That could look like:

✓ Watching the sunset at Beetle Rock

✓ Driving your car beneath Tunnel Log

✓ Climbing to the top of Moro Rock

✓ Standing beneath the giant groves along the Congress Trail

✓ Seeing the world’s largest tree, General Sherman

What if I told you all of this could happen without the stress. Imagine showing up on your big day feeling calm, supported, and fully present from start to finish.

With me as your Sequoia photographer This is exactly what I help you create, step by step.

You care deeply about how your Sequoia wedding day feels, not just how it looks.

You’re not trying to follow traditions that don’t fit. You want something intentional, meaningful, and true to your relationship.

But planning a wedding in Sequoia can quickly feel overwhelming.

Permits, locations, timing, crowds, it’s a lot to figure out on your own.

That’s where I come in.

I help you turn your vision into a clear, well planned experience so your day feels fully taken care of.

No guessing. No rushing. No stress.

Just a day where you can be fully present and actually enjoy it together.

Local Sequoia Photographer

Hi there, I’m Ariel!

Your local Sequoia elopement and wedding photographer.

I help couples experience Sequoia like a local with a one of a kind, stress free photo experience that preserves their once in a lifetime moments in natural, story driven images.

Growing up local to the park, I spend my time exploring these places, learning how light moves through them, understanding seasons, crowds, and logistics, and using that knowledge to guide couples with confidence.

When you work with me, you’re not just hiring a Sequoia wedding photographer.
You’re gaining a planning partner and local expert.

You’re not spending months Googling “best Sequoia elopement locations” or stressing over permits.

You’re waking up on your wedding day knowing it’s handled.

You get to be present.
You get to breathe.
You get to live it instead of managing it.

Your wedding day should be completely stress free and the best day of your life.

With me by your side, your day will feel like this.

A woman standing on a rocky ledge with arms raised, smiling at sunset with mountains and a forest in the background.

“She has such a gift for guiding without over-directing, which let us just be ourselves while still feeling confident in front of the camera.”

Two people sitting at the base of the General Sherman tree in a forest, with a wooden sign reading "GENERAL SHERMAN" in the foreground.

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Ariel! From start to finish, she made everything feel effortless, fun, and comfortable. She has such a gift for guiding without over-directing, which let us just be ourselves while still feeling confident in front of the camera. The whole day felt special, and she captured memories that we’ll treasure forever. My favorite moment was when we were hiking up in our outfits and Ariel made the whole thing feel so fun and easy—it never felt staged or stressful. She caught the in-between laughs, little glances, and the natural moments that honestly felt like us. Looking back, those candid shots ended up being some of my absolute favorites because they feel so genuine and magical.

love note from Hailey and Ryan

There’s a reason couples from all over the world choose Sequoia.

From the iconic sequoia trees to the granite cliffs there’s nothing like this view while saying I Do.

Sequoia offers:

  • 360 mountain views

  • Unique ceremony locations

  • Dramatic sunsets

  • Snowy winter wonderlands

  • Wildflower-filled spring meadows

If you want a unique wedding experience that, full of what matters most, Yosemite is the place where wedding dreams are made.

Why Elope in Sequoia?

A pair of white high-heeled shoes, a bottle of Rebecca Minkoff perfume, a bouquet of white hydrangeas, a Yosemite map, and two rings on top of the map, all placed on a wooden surface.

These are a few favorites that photograph beautifully.I help you choose based on season, light, crowd levels, and how you want the day to feel.

Beetle Rock

Easy access, insane sunset glow, and a big open view. Great for intimate ceremonies and portraits.

Crescent Meadow

Dreamy, soft, and peaceful. Perfect if you want meadow vibes with towering trees nearby.

When Is the Best Time to Elope in Sequoia?

Spring: Fresh greens, quieter trails, and crisp air. Great for couples who want comfortable temps and fewer crowds.

Summer: Everything is accessible. This is peak season, so planning matters most. Sunrise and weekday sessions are your best friend.

Fall: Golden tones, cooler evenings, and a moodier feel. One of my favorite times for story driven photos.

Winter: Not for everyone, but stunning when conditions line up. If you want cozy, quiet, and dramatic, winter can be magic.

If you tell me your preferred season, I’ll guide you to the best month and time of day.

All ceremonies inside Sequoia require a special use permit.

The permit is issued by the National Park Service and ensures protected access to ceremony locations.

I’ll guide you through:

  • Application process

  • Approved ceremony sites

  • Guest limitations
