Moro Rock, Beetle Rock & Hanging Rock – The Ultimate Elopement Trio In Sequoia
Dreaming of a Sequoia National Park Elopement? Here’s Everything You Need to Know
If you’re dreaming of an elopement that’s meaningful and surrounded by jaw-dropping views…Sequoia National Park is calling your name. As a Sequoia National Park elopement photographer, I’ve helped couples from all over the world ditch the stress of traditional weddings and create something way more personal.
Why Elope in Sequoia National Park?
Eloping in Sequoia National Park isn’t just about having a pretty backdrop (though, trust me, the views are unreal). It’s about leaving all the traditional pressure behind and creating a day that actually feels like you. Whether that’s a quiet sunrise first look, saying your vows on a granite cliff, or hiking to the top of a mountain together…Sequoia has some of the most epic and meaningful elopement spots in all of California.
The Best Sequoia Elopement Locations (That I Personally Love!)
Beetle Rock Elopement – Private Mountain Views
Beetle Rock is seriously underrated. Most people hit it up for sunset, but sunrise is where the magic’s at! Picture standing together as the first light hits the mountains, in total silence. It feels like you have the whole park to yourselves, because most of the time, you do.
Photographer tip: I’ll help you time it perfectly to avoid the crowds and catch the dreamiest light.
2. 🧗♀️ Hanging Rock Elopement – A Cliffside Ceremony with Epic Views
This is for my couples who want a little rush with their “I do.” Hanging Rock sits right on the edge of a granite cliff and offers panoramic views of the valley below. It’s so stunning!! Easily one of my all-time favorite spots.
3. Moro Rock Elopement – 360-Degree Summit Views
Want a little hike on your elopement day? Moro Rock is a short (but steep!) climb that leads to one of the most iconic views in the park. It’s super popular, but I know the secret: sunrise up here is next-level, and totally worth the early wake-up call!!
